Say a person has been basically manipulated for their entire life. They're happy that way, and operate better in society than they did, normally.
Would you say that it's wrong that they don't act truly like themselves, or of their own actual will, or that it's alright, regardless, as long as they function well, and are happy?
Something interesting to think about, honestly, to me.
