I would like to give a congratulations to Shiroko, for winning her first duel.
I almost got so distracted by the fruit puns, that I nearly missed that you seem to still have that card.

And she used it in it. Nothing living seemed to turn into a doll, though.

...the fact that I'm surprised is what kills me the most.

But the card apparently changed itself to become weaker-- at least by it's type's standards. Shiroko doesn't know why it did it, though.
There is also the fact that it did not immediately attempt to make the woman they were dueling against into a doll. Or the entire stadium, which it might have been able to do if it were still intending on that.

Hiding and weakening itself doesn't mean it's changed, it just means it has good survival instincts.

I understand clear reason to be wary of it, but even if it has good survival instincts, it then means that it knows that it won't be able to do anything against us, if it tried something like that again.
If a being is resorting to weakening itself and trying to hide, then it's unlikely to try.

And regardless of your intentions, Miss Marias, while justifiable, I'm in a much more likely position to be able to than you are.

You'd better hope to God you haven't made the wrong decision, Samasu!

If you're all buddy buddy with the card, do you at least know where it came from.

... I have a slight guess at who it might be, regardless, but I would like a bit of time to see if my own guess has more weight to it or not, before I state it.
After all, last thing I'd want is for an innocent individual to suddenly be jumped by anyone, just because I was wrong.

Are you implying I'd jump the guy?!

I'm implying that someone might see this public post, and decide to kill the hypotenuse, instead of waiting and trying to clarify the situation, like either of us would.

Figure out if your guess has any merit quick and get back to me then.
