... I actually wonder a bit, if there are more Number cards that aren't necessarily malevolent.

The one I obtained recently doesn't really seem like it... Honestly, it's the first one I'd ever consider using to any extent. Not that I would, but...

Number 34: Terror-Byte. It has 0 ATK and 2500 DEF. Rank 3. Not entirely certain on the effect, though...

The one who used it didn't act possessed, though. Or really, much different than normal.

Maybe it's fake.

I think only Numbers can do that whole... "The number appearing on the person's hand" and the "flying to the victor of the duel" deal that they seem to have going on.

Which is what this one did. So I doubt that it is fake.

I have one, Number 39, that came to me in a duel a little while back and he's helping me in the investigation into the other Numbers.

Number 34: Terror-Byte. I've explained what I know about it above, too.

It was kinda unusual, actually. Most of my experiences so far with the Numbers have been... less than stellar.

From what I've been told, some of the numbers are worse than others, so chances are this Terror-byte is possibly one of the more... nicer ones, I guess.

Maybe, but... I don't know, it just seems unusual, for me.

Yes, Number 39 - Aspiring Emperor Hope. He's been giving me what info he can and clarifying information from other sources.

Interesting... and you haven't felt... unusual, right? You can say you haven't been acting odd, or no one's been saying that you've acted unusual?

As far as I'm aware, I haven't been feeling or acting any different.

When I first received Hope, I asked Asuka specifically to keep an eye on my behaviour just in case, as she would be the first to notice anything odd about me. So far, nothing. Same old me.

While that is good, it really is unusual, given the others... Though I guess also there's cases where someone just can't be possessed.

... I really wish I didn't have to be thinking about how people are getting possessed by cards.

Hope seems to be a very... black sheep where the numbers are concerned. He considers me to be his equal, and respects that we're "working towards similar goals". He's let me know his story, which I'll be posting soon, along with all the information we've gathered so far.

I just hope he actually is a black sheep. I'd admittedly suspicious... but I guess after so many, it's unavoidable.

... Well, essentially, multiple cards, being the Numbers, have been going around the city right now. The thing is, they seem to be prone to... Possessing people. Making them act unusually. One girl I had dueled was under the delusion that she was a pirate. Shiroko, for example, has been the worst I had seen so far, with three Numbers taking full control of her.

The thing is, their presence was initially stated to be an invited gathering tournament of sorts...

Sounds about right... apparently the lot of them tend for 'sealed evil in a can', I believe?

And I suppose that one of them got loose, and 'influenced' someone to make a way for them to all get back together?

Yes, that is what I expect is the case.

Though, I feel there's potential that each have their own personal intentions, as well... But that there is a varying level of danger, regardless. The fact alone that they seem to wish to latch onto people is troubling, especially when a lot of the major goals of them are unknown.

Hmm. Any ideas what the story behind them are?

They are all apparently escaped prisoners, from what Juudai has stated. The main plan is to be gathered up, that is what we know for certain... He would probably have the most information concerning the situation with the Numbers, however.

The most I know is that the three Gimmick Puppet Numbers were attempting to search for something big related to them. They were using Shiroko to build a machine to scan for it.

Yes. She had one-- though I can assure you that she was not acting oddly, and the card itself is now away from her.

But that may be possible. Shiyoko had one before, as well, but that has been taken away from her as well. But that was also some time ago.
